NEP’s state-of-the-art processes, such as solidification modeling, automated molding lines and silica gel lost wax, and utilization of green technology reduce development time and increase throughput so that customers get parts faster. QUALITY ASSURANCE

NEP employs a proprietary quality assurance process that has been awarded by customers measuring performance at the PPM (parts per million) level. The NEP Quality Assurance Team performs direct audits of our plants and suppliers, and our 47 Supplier Quality Engineers are dedicated to in-process and in final inspection of parts. Our experienced teams conduct extensive testing, including:

NDT (non-destructive testing)

Dimensional Inspection

Full NEP metrology center for NPI inspection using CMM and 3D scanning and comparator technology. 

Chemical and Mechanical Inspection

Charpy test bar, Spectrometer, Test bar pull, Ductility, Microstructure, Material certification reports.

Traceability

Casting lot date codes, Heat treat loads coding, Machine operator identification, Inspector identification and certification.

Inventory Management and Delivery

NEP produces and then warehouses each partner’s forecasted consumption of parts in North America, enabling same-day pickup if needed.
